SunExpress – 30% increase in seat capacity for 2019

Turkish-German carrier SunExpress will offer a record high capacity of 6.4 million seats in its international program for summer 2019 – this represents a 30% increase in seats available for this year and allows the airline to significantly expand its flight frequency between Turkey and European destinations.

The Antalya based airline – a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa – was founded in 1989 and currently flies to 90 destinations in over 30 countries. CEO Jens Bischof stated that this increase in capacity will allow the airline to operate flights from Turkey to a number of new destinations, including those in Europe.

‘’Voted as the world’s 5th best leisure airline and the No.1 leisure airline in Turkey by Skytrax, SunExpress will continue to be the preferred airline for links to the tourist destinations of Turkey”, he added.
