Turkish Airports – Passenger Traffic up by 19.5% in 1st 4 months of the Year
More than 60.1 million people travelled through Turkish airports in the first 4 months of the year, according to the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ).
The DHMİ said that international passenger numbers reached 22.6 million from January to April, up 22.1% on the same period last year. Domestic passenger numbers increased by 18.5% to reach 37.45 million.
The total amount of air cargo carried (in the same period) was 1.1 million tons, up 17.3% on last year.
The total amount of aircraft served was up by 9.6% to 588.526.
